The six-song EP “Sunset Collapse” features the evocative, honest Midwestern songwriting of veteran St. Louis musician Corey Saathoff, set to the powerful cosmic Americana sounds of his seasoned band. Both melancholic and uplifting spikes of mandolin and swirling pedal steel blend together with a hybrid of 1960s-era folk rock guitars and organ and classic country fiddle to capture the essence of Saathoff’s colorful lyrical imagery.
